I have had no issues with color balancing or view angle maybe my eyes are going bad as I approach 40, but I sure wouldn't forego this laptop because of the display. I guess I have been living under a rock, because I think it looks outstanding. * Others have commented that the display on this and the HDD versions of this laptop is substandard. Zero to desktop in 23 seconds.the only limitation to getting things done is the user's typing/clicking speed. For me, speed > space, and this laptop does not disappoint. I went with the SSD over the HDD to take advantage of the additional speed associated with the SDD. * Because I intend to use this laptop solely for gaming (WoW), the 256GB SSD has plenty of storage space for my needs. As long as I can heal raids and play PvP without graphics-induced delay, I will be happy, and thus far I see no problems with that. I now regularly get 50-100 fps on WoW, in all zones (including 25-man Highmaul), thanks to the GTX860M GPU. Although others have posted some criticisms, I must say that so far I have had none of these issues. Overall Review: I chose this laptop to replace a 6-year-old ASUS ROG laptop that had reached the end of its viable lifespan with the release of WoW: Warlords of Draenor and its scaled-up graphics.
